After 20 years in the film industry, I made the move to real estate and couldn’t be happier. That was over 13 years ago, and in that time I have continued to make Royal LePage’s Top 20 Realtor’s list, received multiple awards of distinction including Master Sales, Director’s Platinum, National Diamond, and the prestigious National Red Diamond Award, that recognizes the top 2% in Royal LePage Canada, which I’m beyond thrilled about. Most recently I was named Royal LePage’s Top Individual Agent for Atlantic Canada for the third time. So I’m literally at the top of my game and am loving every minute of it!

I attribute much of my success to having great clients who rely on my first-hand knowledge of the neighbourhoods, trust in my experience, and love my easy-going yet, honest and straightforward approach. Buying and/or selling a home is a big decision and my clients appreciate the personal level of communication and dedication that I provide.

In particular, I use a creative approach when marketing your home that goes beyond the standard online listing or newspaper ad. Each of my listings comes with a unique property postcard that tells the story of your home, the neighbourhood and the little things that make your property worth viewing. I leverage social media, social media and neighbourhood canvassing to spread the word. I always share it with my extensive network of clients, colleagues and contacts as well.

When I’m not with clients, I can usually be found at the local rink watching my youngest girl play hockey, in a studio listening to my oldest daughter strum her guitar or walking our dog at Point Pleasant. I’m raising my family to love Halifax as much as I do and know first hand how important it is to find the perfect neighbourhood for your family’s needs.

I strive for excellence in every purchase/sale and especially love welcoming newcomers to Halifax. Honestly, there’s nothing more exciting than going on my city tour with someone who’s never been here before! Of course, my tour isn’t just for new folks – even some of my long-time Haligonian client’s have discovered new and neat places they didn’t even know existed.

It was not a simple task to sell the home that Colleen sold for me. The building in question had been in the family for 114 years. It was in poor condition but in some ways beautiful.
